Abilene Test Session February 5th

Need a ham license or want to upgrade your license?

Our next VE Test Session will be held at the Mall Library in Abilene on Saturday February 5, 2022 at 1 p.m. CST.

If you wish to test you must be preregistered. You will also need to have a Federal Registration Number or FRN from the FCC. Go to: https://apps.fcc.gov/coresWeb/publicHome.do to obtain your number.

November Meeting

The monthly KCARC business meeting Monday, November 8th at the Mall branch of the Library at 7pm. This month we count the ballots for the office of President. 2022 will be an important year for the KCARC.

Anyone interested in the Hobby of Amateur Radio is invited to attend.

October club meeting

This month we nominate officers for the 2022 year. Please try to make every effort to be at this month’s meeting. Also, contact club members that you know who may not have been able to attend the meetings and invite them to attend so that they can provide their valuable input into the leadership of the club during the next year. Every person is important and their voice is
important.

Code Class

Attention HAMS that want to learn International Morse Code!
We will have a class on August 23rd, which is a Monday night, at the Abilene Mall Library at 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  The class will meet every Monday night for 11 weeks and will cover all the alphabet, numbers, punctuation marks, as well as other code related signals to effectively communicate using International Morse Code..
Anyone interested, either ham or non-ham is welcome to attend the class.
There is NO-CHARGE for this class!!!
