HAM RADIO (AMATEUR RADIO) is a hobby that in times of emergency saves lives! It allows communications with emergency services, family and friends. You must have an Amateur Radio License to transmit on the Federal Communications Commission allocated Amateur Radio frequency bands. CW or Morse Code is no longer required however you must pass a test consisting topics needed to operate legally with your own radio station. Come and learn all the other great things you can do with an amateur radio license.
