Howdy all, this Saturday at 10:00 am we will be having our monthly ARES/RACES training session. The training session will be held at the Abilene Southside Library in the Mall of Abilene.
The training focus for this Saturday will be the volunteering of services from Hams to the local community in the event of a disaster and what liability issues the Ham operator may face. More and more cities have started to mandate those who volunteer to help sign a waiver of liability in the event of an accident where the city will not be held liable.
